Founder Jay Katav built the company from the ground up with that mindset. Early on, he recognized a gap in the industry. Many contractors could perform the work, but few consistently delivered the reliability, responsiveness, and professionalism that property owners truly needed.

What began as a hands-on service operation grew through strong relationships, reputation, and a commitment to solving problems for clients. Property managers began relying on J National not only for individual repairs, but for comprehensive support across multiple trades.

As demand increased, the company expanded its capabilities across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, restoration, and general construction — building a team capable of responding to both everyday service needs and major property emergencies.

The next phase of growth came with the addition of Chief Operating Officer Tammy Diamond, who brought a strategic focus on operational structure, systems, and scalable growth.
